You've enjoyed the events we have put on in the village, the acoustic sessions in Hoc's Nest and up on the gallery, the photographic and art displays as well. More to come in 2012, we trust that you will always find a warm welcome at Hoc's.
As Audlem Village scooped yet another award this year a Gold Award for the Best Small Village category. All this in spite of the drastic cut in funding for us by Cheshire East Council.www.audlem.org/newsitem-1-1-7251.html

Some interesting news to be released soon about Enya’s books - Hoc’s Fat Pigeon is fully behind Enya’s fund raising activity. For those that don't know the story behind Enya’s Books, basically Enya, and some 12 of her colleagues studying at Brine Leas 6th Form, raised money for a World Challenge expedition to Costa Rica earlier this year.
They were there for a month most of which centered at a school in the Rain Forest helping with teaching English and carrying out necessary maintenance.
Enya raised £3,500 she needed to raise, and the book shop iwas a big part of that fund raising activity.
We are excited to be supporting Enya, and to keep the shop going.
